TracysDogs began in early 2011 with a very simple purpose; give dogs with pending euthanasia dates a greater degree of visibility and exposure to those who might be willing to adopt, foster, or rescue one of San Antonio's stray and abandoned dogs located at Animal Care Services and Brooks AFB shelter. After nearly two years, and more than 5,000 videos posted to YouTube and TracysDogs.com, the results have been nothing short of inspirational. Thousands of dogs once facing the imminent danger of euthanasia through no fault of their own are now living wonderful lives with their new families around the country. We invite you to join us on this very special mission.
The focus of our program is the National Rescue & Transport Initiative. In 2012, we saved more than 360 dogs with pending euthanasia dates into our program, providing veterinarian care, socialization, quarantine, nutrition, love and attention before placing our dogs into loving, forever homes. This mission is made possible in great measure through kind and generous donors. Please consider making a gift to TracysDogs today using the PayPal button above.
We learned quickly that there are so many wonderful families willing to rescue our dogs in places like San Diego, Colorado, Minnesota, Illinois, and even Canada. Click on the photo above for details about our next Transport and adoption event.
Even though TracysDogs is only four full-time volunteers, there are so many people who help contribute significantly to the success of this endeavor including our invaluable fosters, County Line Animal Hospital, and Chapter Coordinators. Click on the photo above to learn more about TracysDogs.
